VSC ARMORCOAT BASE EPOXY is combined with natural silica aggregates to produce an extremely hard tough-wearing uniform textured or smooth (troughs) overlay for new or slightly corroded (less than ® inch) concrete. It is unaffected by the acids produced by animal and feed wastes. Since 1989 producers have found the ARMOR-COAT system to be the most permanent solution for restoring concrete around feeders and waterers and on floors. Wastes flow off the slats removing acids that corrode the surface. It's easy to use too. Just mix, add sand, pour onto the substrate and spread. Add sand to the surface for a textured system or leave smooth (troughs). Use the convenient 6-inch notched squeegee (TSFECSE-6) for slat repairs.
Sand is purchased locally (typically 25 lbs. per 1.5 gallon kit for admix and 25 lbs. for broadcast. Gray is also available. Use the ARMORCOAT epoxy (liquids only) for a tough-wearing roll-coat applied coating for offices, storage and shop floors, or as a sealer for walls and slightly worn slats and floors.
Typical coverage: 40 to 60 sq. ft. per 1.5 gallon kit with sand and 140 to 150 sq. ft. per gallon (liquids only). Thorough mixing and professional application methods are provided.
